I really enjoy this tanner lotion! It is very gradual so recommended for lighter skinned people. However, where I was tan it did actually make me tanner too. I started using the hand thing they give you which is nice and all but takes awhile since you can only use one hand. After awhile I started just using my hands. It made them a little orange/brown but nothing you would notice if you were not looking hard. My other girlfriend did have some issues with it being darker on her hands, though.  I recommend mixing it with your daily lotion when getting out of the shower. I lotion first, let that soak in and then do the mixture for lotion and self-tanner. Works great for me!
